IECON 2007

Call for Special Sessions

The Program Committee of the IECON’07 also solicits proposals for special sessions within the technical scope of the conference. Each proposal for a special session should describe the theme and scope of the proposed session and how the papers form a cohesive and complementary group in the session topic. One session contains five (5) papers. The proposal must contain the title and theme of the session and a list of paper titles, names and email addresses of the corresponding authors. Please refer to the template for detail.

Special Session: To organize a special session, please do the following steps:

  1. Identify a special topic (in the field of your expertise) that is within the topics of interest for IECON’07, and give a title to your intended special session. Then, e-mail the information to the Special Sessions Chair, Dr. Mi-Ching Tsai (E-mail: mctsai@mail.ncku.edu.tw) with your name, title and affiliation as soon as possible.
  2. Write to researchers who you think are able to submit good papers consistent with your special area of the Special Session by the deadline (April 2, 2007).
  3. Submit a summary of the Special Sessions to the Special Sessions Chair, Dr. Mi-Ching Tsai by the deadline (March 20, 2007). The summary should include the following:
    • Title of the Special Session
    • Titles of Papers
    • Names, titles and affiliations of the Authors/Co-authors for each paper
An special session should ideally have 5 papers. Even if you could only get less than this, proceed on as we could help to find a couple more to fit into your special session. The special session organizers may be requested to organize the paper review process.
